Five Note Foundry

Forge and arrange the five-note phrase C, D, E, G, A from left to right, then Perform. The five hoppers start with exactly thirty-one units of note metal. In Carry mode, tap a hopper to lift its top note, then another hopper to drop it; each lift or drop spends a beat. In Hammer mode, tap a hopper whose top two notes match to fuse them into the next pitch. Forging D, E, G or A adds 2, 3, 4 or 5 heat; more than 6 heat melts the run. Three Cool charges each remove up to 4 heat. Belt step rotates all five hoppers right by one column. Perform succeeds only with one note per hopper in ascending order and an empty hand. You have fourteen workshop beats. Preserve one C before fusing its pair, forge the hot notes thoughtfully, then align the whole phrase with the belt.
